Chantel’s 2-day weekend reflexology workshop is part of NDRA's 2022 Reflexology Conference being held in Fargo, ND, U.S.A, October 28-30, 2022. The weekend begins Friday evening with a 2-hour workshop "Sole Connections to the Nervous System" with Lisa Weninger, LR, RN, followed by my weekend in-person workshop.
My Saturday and Sunday workshop is comprised of three segments that utilize lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice. The three segments that make up the workshop are:
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Adopting a no-mind approach in a session helps the practitioner to release judgment and the need to control or fix the client. This creates a more conducive environment for the client’s healing process. If you have taken my classes, you know this is a huge part of my philosophy and work. To date, only on-line workshops have touched on this powerful approach. I am so excited to bring you this and my compassionate intake process for you to explore with self, others, and clients.
Because injury, illness, discomfort, and disease are not always what they seem, students will learn tools to assess and address not only the symptoms but also understand what is underneath. The root cause—or what Chantel refers to as the emotional underbelly of the injury, illness, or disease—will be explored.
Students will also learn to cultivate a thorough and compassionate intake process. This combination of releasing the dis-ease (or diagnosis), using the no-mind approach coupled with addressing the origin of the dis-ease, provides a solid routine for the practitioner to follow.
In the third segment, students will learn systems, methods, and protocols to address trauma, addiction/recovery, and emotional imbalances.
These three segments aim to bring unity to a session by:

In the third segment, students will learn systems, methods, and protocols to address trauma, addiction/recovery, and emotional imbalances.
These three segments aim to bring unity to a session by:
- Releasing our ideas of what the client needs,
- Suspending our judgment of the client and/or their diagnosis,
- Learning how to retrieve client information using a compassionate intake process,
- Asking the right questions to get to the underbelly of the dis-ease and empowering the client to find the answers on their own.
- Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the brain.
- Utilizing something akin to the SBIRT approach (screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment) so that our client, patient, or family member has the resources and care they need.
- Executing reflexology and other holistic techniques, methods, and protocols that specifically address trauma, addiction/recovery, and emotional imbalances.
